Pekingese Rescue Information: The Pekingese is a small, long haired, bold and devoted dog. Pekingese can be difficult about their food. Pekingese are very affectionate and can get along well with older, considerate children. Pekingese like to bark and can be possessive with their people. They make good watchdogs. Pekingese can live in an apartment if they get enough exercise. Pekingese Trivia: The Pekingese was once believed to be able to ward off evil spirits. Chinese were once required to bow down to Pekingese. |
