Rescue Me ID: 17-10-08-00363Mars (male)

Pekingese Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Mars is a precious boy who was completely terrified at the lights and flashing at the photo studio when we went to go get pictures '| so please keep that in mind as he is not some sort of nervous dog in general. Mars is more cautious and timid than his sisters (Tootsie and Snickers) to start, but once he gets comfortable he is all in with his love, kisses and sweetness. I remember when I first let them run around the bedroom area he was scared to cross the threshold from the bathroom to the bedroom. Now he bounds everywhere he wants to go! Mars was born on July 7 (makes him 4 months old this month) and weighs 8 lbs. He is going to be ... (Read More)a small dog when full grown. He looks similar to his sister (Snickers) and nothing like his sister (Tootsie). We have no idea who daddy was and we are just purely guessing and speculating on what mix they are. Mars will be neutered by the end of the month, up to date on his shots, wormed and micro chipped. He will be ready to join his forever family the 1st weekend of November. Mars is currently located in Cookeville, Tennessee and the adoption fee is $250. Transportation may be available to out of state adopters for an additional cost. If you would like to adopt Mars please fill out our online adoption application at http://safehaventn.com/. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-10-08-00358Tootsie (female)

Pekingese Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Tootsie, who is part of our Candy Litter, is the life of the party! If you are looking for a couch potato dog, keep on looking, this dog is not for you! Tootsie was born on July 7 (makes her 4 months old this month) and weighs 8 lbs. She is going to be a small dog when full grown and is a spitting image of her mother. Daddy didn't stick around '| and we have no idea on their actual mix '| all just pure guess and speculation. What I can tell you is that Tootsie is all energy, fun and loving. She does not have an off button (trust me I have looked) but sleeps soundly at night and loves to get love and attention. She gets along ... (Read More)great with her smooth coated brother (Mars) and sister (Snickers). Tootsie will be spayed at the end of the month, up to date on her shots, wormed and micro chipped. She will ready to join her forever family the 1st weekend of November. Tootsie is currently located in Cookeville, Tennessee and the adoption fee is $250. Transportation may be available to out of state adopters for an additional cost. If you would like to adopt Tootsie please fill out our online adoption application at http://safehaventn.com/. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-10-08-00350Snickers (female)

Pekingese Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Although sweet Snickers looks terrified, she is really not. The photo studio can be a bit overwhelming for some pups, especially small ones %BD'%BD| so don't think that she is some kind of fraidy cat, but she is no such thing! Snickers was born on July 7 (makes her 4 months old this month) and weighs 7 lbs. She is going to be a small dog when full grown. She looks similar to her brother (Mars) and nothing like her sister (Tootsie). We have no idea who daddy was and we are just purely guessing and speculating on what mix they are. Snickers will be spayed at the end of the month, up to date on her shots, wormed and micro chipped. ... (Read More)She will be ready to join her forever family the 1st weekend of November. Snickers is out going, friendly and plays well with other dogs. She would make a great companion and lap dog and if there are other dog(s) in the home, it would be best that they were small breed as well. Snickers is currently located in Cookeville, Tennessee and the adoption fee is $250. Transportation may be available to out of state adopters for an additional cost. If you would like to adopt Snickers please fill out our online adoption application at http://safehaventn.com/. (Less)
