    URGENT!!!! Chata is a very sweet and gentle Pekingese who was an owner surrender and is suffering from severe dermatitis. This sweet girl has large patches of alopecia and hot spots and needs help urgently, as her condition and appearance puts her at risk for being euthanized.     Gig Gig is a mellow, non barky, laid back older male Pekingese. I have had him for about 5 years and am not sure of his age but he is definetly a senior. He enjoys short walks and gets along with most everyone. I need to move due to financial circumstances and I can no longer keep poor gig. Also, my son has asthma ans skin conditions and we found he is allergic to dog dander. I have posted on Craigs list and called all shelters that I have found. Still no luck. Do not want to have to take him to SPCA for fear he will be put down. Please help.....

    Molly is a good dog. I currently have her and another female dog but Molly will at times attack without a reason. I don't want to call her aggressive but she loves attention. She needs to be an only dog because all she wants to do is cuddle with you and lick you like crazy. If my other puppy gets close to me she barks (sometimes). Molly has my heart and I know she will have yours too. She is blind on the right eye but loves to play. She has an extreme overbite that makes her ugly but pretty. She will love you with all of her heart and all I ask is that you do the same!

    The Pekingese was once believed to be able to ward off evil spirits. Historically, the theft of a Pekingese in China was punished by death. All modern Pekingese are descended from five dogs rescued for Queen Victoria during the Second Opium War. When British troops reached the residence of the Chinese Emperor, the guards killed all but these five dogs to prevent them falling into the hands of the enemy.
