OH MY...if you have never met a purebred Pekingese before, I have to say...I am the 'Choice" girl...yes, a tad on the older side...a sexy senior....just about hitting 10 yrs old, BUT I am a GOOD 10! No cateracs, still walking nicely, I can hear well too... I need a new home because my humans have moved where they can only have 1 they had to make a tough call...and well, here I am. My humans were VERY kind to me, and knew that one thing I really am afraid of is a good thunderstorm...they protected me well with either cuddling me, or putting me in a small crate where I wouldfeel extra safe and cuddle in there. On an average ... (Read More)day though, I don't go in a crate because I am housetrained, and also know how to use a doggy door... YEP, I am such a good girl. I am already spay, UTD on shot and rabie vaccine, and have also been micro-chipped. I am picky about my canine friends, theres some I like...and some I don't. Meet and greet is the best way for me. (Please don't knock me for that one, I am sure theres some humans you don't care for either...) Cats are fine too...if they want to run and play, I can do that...but if they don't, I block them out until they are ready. I really don't like having my belly brushed...but other than that, try to find a flaw.. I am medically healthy...could stand to go to a dentist, but nothing urgent....and have I mentioned how durn good looking I am??? I have "never" been around small children, so at this stage of the game, I prefer not to have to deal with them...10+ is fine.... If you would like to meet me, Please give a call, and see if we can meet up soon. I want a home, someone that can let me retire with them?? (that would be my choice). I am very affectionate, I am friendly to visitors...and yep, still playful at times! My adoption fee has just been REDUCED to 125.00. The Cat or dog you are viewing can be seen by emailing us at: or calling 480-628-5058. The application process is the 1st step for a R.A.I.N. Rescue Pet. Rescue, so it may or may not have all its shots, spay/neutered etc. Most of the info is provided in the description. *You should call the 1st number listed to talk to the actual owner to see if this pet is still available. You can call the 2nd number to meet us for your coupon booklet once a adoption agreement has been made with the owner. UPDATE: As of June 7th 2014, Kit Kat Rescue is NOW R.A.I.N. Rescue!! (Rescuing Animals in Need) We try to remove each cat, kitty, dog and puppy as soon as they are adopted. CAN YOU HELP US???? R.A.I.N. Rescue is desperately seeking foster homes for SMALL dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. We are currently needing volunteers for these Departments also: Foster Homes, Transporters, Groomer, Adoption Center, Donation Station and Fund-raisers. FOSTERING: We take in "small" dogs, puppies, cats and kittens to foster. The fosters DO NOT pay out of pocket for expenses while Fostering ANY animals in our Rescue. This is a Misconception of many folks. The Rescue pays for everything necessary. We also accommodate for time away. *Some of our best fosters have been the winter visitors, who may only be able to take in dogs for 3-4 months. TRANSPORTERS: A person designated to take the dogs and cats for their vetting. (Spay/Neuter etc), groomers and sometimes to pick up and drop off at adoption events when the fosters are unable to bring them. Picking up new strays/owner surrenders etc and taking them to their foster home. This position will pay mileage. FUND-RAISERS: Anything to help bring in funds to our non-profit Rescue. You will earn 10% of the money brought in to help the animals for each event! GROOMER: A skilled groomer with their own grooming equipment that can groom / bathe/clip nails on small dogs/puppies. We will supply the shampoo/towels etc. We would bring them to your location in the east valley. VOLUNTEERS AT ADOPTION CENTER: Cleaning cat kennels (Inside help with cats and kittens weekday days & nights), cats laundry (pick up and drop off), play time with cats, feeding cats, Walking dogs, cleaning their kennels, watering & feeding, etc (Less)

 Adoption Fee: $125.00 Animal Location:
